Israelis Attacked on Way to Pray at Joseph’s Tomb

Jerusalem, 30 July, 2019 (TPS) -- Israeli forces securing the entry of Israeli worshippers to pray at Joseph’s Tomb in the city of Shechem (Nablus) on Monday night were attacked by Arab terrorists.

Troops clearing the path for the worshippers’ entry exposed and neutralized a pipe bomb.

Some 1,200 Israeli worshippers arrived at Joseph’s Tomb to pray, as Arab rioters set fire to tires and threw rocks at the forces securing them, who responded with crowd dispersal means.

The prayers proceed unhindered, and there were no Israel casualties in the clashes.

In related news, Israeli forces carrying out counter-terrorism operations throughout Judea and Samaria arrested 15 wanted persons suspected of involvement in terror activities and violent disturbances against civilians and soldiers. The suspects were transferred for questioning.
