Israel’s Foreign Ministry: No Israelis Injured In Cairo Attack

Jerusalem, 7 January, 2016 (TPS) -- Gunmen opened fire on a number of tourists who were boarding a bus, earlier Thursday in Egypt’s capital of Cairo. Reportedly, there were no Israeli tourists who were injured.

“The only thing I can officially confirm is that according to the reports of the local police there are no Israeli injuries or casualties,” said Alon Lavi, Deputy Spokesperson for Israel’s Foreign Ministry to Tazpit Press Service.

“As far as we understand, there were Israeli tourists on the bus, but again none of them got hurt.”
