Jerusalem, 2 July, 2018 (TPS-IL) -- MK Dov Khenin (Joint List) wrote Monday on Twitter that attempts to force ultra-Orthodox yeshiva students to enlist in the IDF are a “competition amongst opposition lawmakers to prove who hates haredim more.”
A bill to provide draft quotas for haredi yeshivas, and financial penalties for seminaries that fail to meet them, is scheduled for a preliminary reading on the Knesset floor this afternoon.
