Jerusalem, 30 March, 2016 (TPS) -- The Knesset approved the first reading of a bill proposed by Member of Knesset Eyal Ben Reuven (Zionist Union), that would prohibit the publication of the name and address of the soldier who shot and killed a Palestinian assailant in Hebron last Thursday, until the case is fully closed.

“We must thoroughly examine operational incidents,” remarked MK Reuven. however there is an obligation to protect our our soldiers just as there is with conducting an investigation of them.”

The soldier was detained for shooting the assailant a short time after the stabbing attack already had taken place.
