Jerusalem, 29 May, 2016 (TPS) -- A planned vote over confirming Yisrael Beiteinu Chairman as Defense Minister that was scheduled for Monday, has been postponed due to the continued demand by Education Minister Naftali Bennett and his Jewish Home party for a military attaché to be appointed to the security cabinet for providing ministers with intelligence during war.

Earlier on Sunday, Jewish Home party members said that they were prepared to force new elections over the issue.
