Lapid: ‘The State of Israel can not continue with the prime minister under charges’

Jerusalem, 2 December, 2018 (TPS-IL) -- Yesh Atid Chairman MK Yair Lapid on police recommendations against Netanyahu:
“It is a sad day for every Israeli citizen, whether he voted Likud or not, in which the prime minister is accused of such serious crimes as a result of too many years in power. The State of Israel can not continue with the prime minister under charges, lawyers’ meetings, serious suspicions. The Likud must choose someone else from its ranks who will lead the country until the elections.”
