Liberman convenes chiefs of staff

Jerusalem, 27 October, 2018 (TPS) -- Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman has convened an urgent security assessment at IDF headquarters Saturday in the wake of  the rocket attacks on Israel’s south. Liberman will meet with Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot and senior IDF and security establishment command. The defense minister has said several times in recent weeks that the time has come to land “a powerful blow” against Hamas and that Israel has exhausted all options in seeking a long-term understanding.
