Jerusalem, 24 October, 2018 (TPS-IL) -- Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman has decided to renew the Qatari-purchased fuel deliveries into the Gaza Strip, starting Wednesday.
This comes three days after the Erez and Kerem Shalom border crossings were reopened following a relative calm.
Liberman made the decision after consulting with the IDF, the Shin Bet security service and the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories.
He said the decision was made following the decrease in violent incidents on the Gaza border over the weekend and the Hamas efforts to restrain violence in the area.
