Man Arrested After Calling Police and Threatening to Carry Out Stabbing Attack

Jerusalem, 31 July, 2016 (TPS) -- A man was arrested near the village of Hura about a week ago after he called the police, said he had a knife and added that he intended to carry out an attack against Israelis, the police published in a statement.

The police quickly sent forces and arrested the man, a 19-year-old resident of Yatta who entered Israeli territory illegally. A knife was located in his possession. He was taken for questioning and an indictment was filed against him at a Beersheva court during the weekend. He is charged with entering the country illegally, possessing a knife and making threats.
