Minister Bennett: Israel Sociological Society Boycott of Ariel Must Be Stopped

Jerusalem, 14 March, 2016 (TPS) -- The office of Education Minister Naftali Bennett strongly criticized the Israel Sociological Society’s decision to boycott Ariel University, located in central Samaria.
“The education minister views the boycott itself with great difficulty,” the office said in a released statement.
“The boycott is not education. It is the opposite of education,” the statement continued. “The boycott is not pluralism, it is the opposite of pluralism, and will be treated accordingly.”
Minister Bennett has turned to the Council for Higher Education (CHE) to take necessary measures to prevent such a boycott.
