Ministry of Justice Confirms Inquiry on Prime Minister Netanyahu

Jerusalem, 10 July, 2016 (TPS) -- Jerusalem (TPS) –  The Ministry of Justice confirmed on Sunday night, that Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit ordered an inquiry into “matter that relate to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.”

According to the statement published late on Sunday by the Ministry’s spokesperson, the inquiry has been ordered by Mandelblit following information given to the Ministry by the Israel Police. However, the same statement also made it clear that “at this point, it’s not a criminal investigation but merely a probe.”
