MK Livni Hopes For Speedy Conclusion to Investigation of Zionist Union Head Herzog

Jerusalem, 31 March, 2016 (TPS) -- Responding to recent reports circulating that Zionist Union Chairman Issac Herzog was allegedly involved in a scandal of campaign financing irregularities in the 2013 Labor primaries, MK Tzipi Livni, who sits in the second slot of the Zionist Union’s list of Members of Knesset, expressed tacit support earlier today, for her faction’s chairman as well as a desire for the episode to come to a conclusion.

“I hope that the investigation will soon end and that the matter will be behind us,” said Livni.

Livni made her remarks at the Israel Institute of Surveyors’ annual conference.
