MK Livni: No Reconciliation Agreement With Turkey That Strengthens Hamas

Jerusalem, 26 June, 2016 (TPS) -- Opposition MK Tzipi Livni (Zionist Union) said this morning on Israel’s Kol Yisrael radio that she does not want any reconciliation agreement with Turkey to in any way, strengthen the Hamas terrorist organization that controls the Gaza Strip. At concern is Turkey’s relationship with the Hamas government in Gaza.
The MK’s remarks were made against a backdrop of reports earlier this week of Turkey and Israel reaching terms for a reconciliation agreement this coming week.
