More Mortar Rounds Fired at IDF Forces on Gaza Border; IDF Returns Fire

Jerusalem, 5 May, 2016 (TPS) -- The IDF Spokesperson Unit has confirmed that several mortar rounds were recently fired at forces engaged in operational activity adjacent to the security fence in the southern Gaza Strip.

No injuries have been reported, according to the statement. “An IDF tank responded and fired towards the threat,” it said.
