Netanyahu Appoints Ministers of Education, Transportation

Jerusalem, 18 June, 2019 (TPS) -- Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced Monday evening that he had appointed MK Rafi Peretz as minister of education, and MK Betsalel Smotrich as minister of transportation.
Both are members of the Union of Right-Wing Parties. Peretz is a former IAF helicopter pilot and the IDF’s Cheif Rabbi.
Smotrich was also admitted to the Security Cabinet. Peretz will set in at the meetings with an observer’s status.
