Jerusalem, 20 June, 2016 (TPS) -- Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed Israel’s continued support for the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty to its executive secretary Dr. Lassina Zerbo on Monday, noting that Israel is a signing party to the agreement.

Israel, along with the United States, has yet to ratify the agreement and Netanyahu stressed that Israel’s decision to do so will depend on whether regional developments will allow Israel to do so without undermining its national security. Such developments necessary include Iran becoming a ratifying party to the treaty.
