Jerusalem, 13 November, 2018 (TPS-IL) --

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu spoke by phone with French President Emmanuel  Macron Tuesday, the Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement. The PMO said Netanyahu told Macron that Israel was exercising its right to self defense against terrorists operating from Gaza. He also urged the international community to continue its efforts against Iranian aggression. Netanyahu cut short a visit to Paris earlier this week, after an Israeli undercover unit was exposed in Gaza leading to a firefight in which an IDF Lieutenant Colonel was killed.
