Jerusalem, 27 August, 2018 (TPS) -- The Likud’s objective for the next general elections is to win 40 out of 120 Knesset seats, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said at a party convention on Monday.

“I don’t know exactly when the general elections will take place, but I’m telling you that 35 is a likely number, and 40 is the objective,” said Netanyahu, ”We’re aiming there, and with God’s help, and with your help, the Likud will grow,” he added.

Elections are scheduled for November 5, 2019.
