Netanyahu: “Israel Will Not Accept Any Rocket Fire From Gaza”

Jerusalem, 13 March, 2016 (TPS) -- At his weekly Cabinet meeting today March 16, 2016, Prime Minister Netanyahu commented on the IDF’s retaliatory strikes in Gaza yesterday in response to rockets launched from Gaza towards Israeli communities located near the border with Gaza.

“Our policy in relation to the Gaza Strip is clear,” said Netanyahu. “Israel will not accept any rocket fire from Gaza into Israel. The IDF responds to any such provocation.”

“Israel holds Hamas responsible for any rocket launching from the Gaza Strip into Israel, as well as the responsibility of of Hamas to prevent any such firing,” added Netanyahu.
