Netanyahu Met with Indonesian Journalists: “It’s Time for Formal Relations Between the Countries”

Jerusalem, 28 March, 2016 (TPS) -- Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met a delegation of senior journalists from Indonesia visiting Israel as guests of the Foreign Ministry.

“It is time for formal relations between Indonesia and Israel,” Netanyahu said during the meeting on Monday, March 28. “We have many opportunities for cooperation such as water and technology matters.”

“Our relations with Indonesia need to change like we changed our relations with other countries,” added Netanyahu. “The reasons that prevented this in the past are not relevant anymore and I hope your visit will help with this.”
