Netanyahu Reportedly Offers Defense Ministry Portfolio to Liberman

Jerusalem, 18 May, 2016 (TPS) -- Netanyahu reportedly offered MK Avigdor Liberman, Chairman of the Yisrael Beiteinu Party, the Defense Ministry porfolio during a meeting this afternoon in which the two discussed the possibility of Liberman’s faction joining the coalition.

In a statement, the Likud party said that the meeting “was conducted in good spirits and at the end it was decided to establish negotiating teams.” Liberman’s associates said that he and Netanyahu agreed to meet again later this evening.
