Jerusalem, 21 October, 2018 (TPS) -- Despite a postponement, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said Sunday morning that the Bedouin village of Khan al-Ahmar “will be evacuated.”

The remarks were made during a meeting with US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin in the Prime Minister’s Office in Jerusalem.

“This is a court decision and it will be carried out,” said Netanyahu. “I have no intention of postponing this evacuation until further notice, but rather for a short and defined amount of time…  It will be short, and I believe it will be with consent.”

He said the matter would be discussed and addressed during a set Cabinet meeting.
