Netanyahu to Meet Putin in Moscow on Thursday
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will meet Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow on Thursday, just days before Israel goes to the polls.
The Kremlin has confirmed the news.
The two spoke on Monday by telephone.
They “discussed regional issues,” Netanyahu’s office stated. The Kremlin’s press service reported that they discussed “pressing bilateral issues, including military contacts, and the situation in the Middle East region.”
Putin and Netanyahu last met in Moscow on February 27.
The two leaders have often spoken by phone and continue to do so on a frequent basis.
