Netanyahu: ‘We are fortifying Israel’s security using strength’

Jerusalem, 26 November, 2018 (TPS-IL) -- Israel’s strength is the reason it is respected around the world, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said during the weekly Likud party meeting on Monday.
“In the past, Israeli prime ministers wanted to earn the world’s admiration by evacuating settlements. I did the opposite,” said Netanyahu, adding that Israel is “earning the respect of the world, including the Arab world.”
“We believe in peace that comes from a place of strength and in alliances formed as a result of the State of Israel’s needs,” Netanyahu continued. “We are fortifying Israel’s security using strength. That is the essence of my policy.”
