Palestinian arrested attempting to breach security perimeter on south Jerusalem community

Jerusalem, 21 November, 2018 (TPS) -- A Palestinian man was arrested Wednesday evening attempting to breach the security fence of the Har Gilo settlement south of Jerusalem. Border Police apprehended the suspect after being alerted by the community’s security officer. The suspect was taken for questioning by security forces who have yet to determine the motive for the incident. On Tuesday, an Israeli man was injured lightly after bing stabbed in the nearby village of Walaja. Police later declared the incident a “nationalistically motivated” attack.
