Palestinian Authority To Continue Security Coordination With Israel

Jerusalem, 17 May, 2016 (TPS) -- Prime Minister of the Palestinian Authority (PA) Rami Hamdallah said in a press briefing with foreign journalists that ceasing security coordination with Israel is not on the Palestinian Authority’s current agenda.

Hamdallah’s comments were made against the backdrop of an announcement by the Palestine Liberation Organization a couple of weeks ago to halt security cooperation with Israel in protest of occasional IDF operations in areas controlled by the Palestinian Authority.
