Palestinian Court Postpones Local Elections in Judea, Samaria and Gaza

Jerusalem, 8 September, 2016 (TPS) -- The Palestinian supreme court has ruled that the municipal elections in the Palestinian territories will not be held as planned on October 8. The claim is that the elections are illegal since they not being held in Jerusalem.

The decision is temporary, and a final ruling will be given after the Muslim festival of Eid al-Adha next week.
