Police Arrest Palestinian Released in Shalit Deal for Illegally Staying in Ra’anana

Jerusalem, 15 August, 2016 (TPS) -- Israeli police arrested and started criminal procedures against eight Palestinians from Judea and Samaria who illegally entered Israeli-controlled territory and were staying in the town of Ra’anana.

One of them is a convicted terrorist who served in Israeli prison and was released in the Shalit deal in 2011, in which the abducted IDF soldier Gilad Shalit was released from Hamas captivity in Gaza in exchange for over 1000 Palestinian terrorists.
