Police Discover Two Pipe Bombs at Herod’s Gate in Jerusalem

Jerusalem, 24 February, 2016 (TPS) -- Two 40-year-old Israeli Arabs from eastern Jerusalem were arrested on Wednesday morning after police forces discovered two pipe bombs at a pretzel stall they operate at Herod’s Gate in Jerusalem’s Old City.
Police and border police forces who conducted the search also found pistol bullets at the stall.
Police Spokesperson Asi Aharoni said that a sapper was acting to neutralize the bombs and that an investigation has been launched to determine the details and background of the incident.
