Jerusalem, 4 April, 2016 (TPS) -- The Judea and Samaria police released for publication that its policemen prevented a car-ramming attack on Sunday night, March 3.

During a routine check at a roadblock in the Binyamin region, the policemen stopped a car driven by a 23-year-old Palestinian from Ramallah. He had no driving license and was driving a car that had been stolen last month in central Israel.

He was arrested, and in his questioning admitted he was intending to carry out a car-ramming attack against IDF soldiers “because of the occupation of Palestinian lands.”

The suspect also said he was planning to become a “martyr”, and that he supports the Fatah organization (PLO). He is currently at the Ofer Prison.
