Jerusalem, 4 July, 2016 (TPS) -- Israeli police on Sunday seized 45 kilograms of cannabis in the Bedouin town of Bir Hadaj, located in Israel’s southern Negev region.  Police dogs led the police to an open area in the village, where they found hidden crates containing the cannabis, buried underground.

The Bedouin village’a proximity to the Egyptian border has made it a major smuggling destination for drug traffickers.
