Report: Virgin Airlines to launch Israel route

Jerusalem, 24 December, 2018 (TPS-IL) -- British aviation giant Virgin Atlantic is planning to launch a Tel Aviv route in September and prior to that will also put on a special flight to shuttle British Eurovision fans to Israel when the song contest takes place in Tel Aviv in May, according to a report on the Ynet website, Monday. According to the report, Virgin representatives will visit Israel next week. Earlier this month, an Israeli, Shai Weiss, was named as the airline’s new Chief Executive Officer.
