Rocket alert sirens sound in southern Israel

Jerusalem, 11 October, 2018 (TPS) -- Rocket alert sirens were sounded across several communities in southern Israel.
The IDF Spokesperson said, that a red alert was activated in the regional councils of Shaar Hanegev and Sedot Negev and that details under review.
According to residents’ reports, two explosions were heard, which were apparently believed to be an interception.
This comes after the IDF closed several main roads along the Gaza border in southern Israel on Thursday morning due to a security situation.
