Rocket from Gaza Lands in Sderot, No Casualties

Jerusalem, 5 October, 2016 (TPS) -- A red alert rocket alarm sounded at 10:20 a.m. in the city of Sderot and the communities of the Shaar HaNegev Regional Council.

The Israeli army and police confirmed that a single rocket was launched from Gaza and landed on a road in Sderot near a school, causing no casualties but damaging the road.

Several people suffered from shock and were treated by Magen David Adom.

Police forces and bomb disposal experts have sealed the area.
