Security forces arrest terrorists, seize weapons

Jerusalem, 13 August, 2018 (TPS-IL) -- 11 Palestinians who were wanted for suspicion of involvement in terrorist activities were arrested by security forces throughout Judea and Samaria on Sunday night. The arrests were carried out by the IDF, Shin Bet, Border Patrol and Israel Police. The suspects were detained for further questioning.
Aside from the arrests, IDF soldiers from the Binyamin Brigade discovered weapons and ammunition during a raid, and soldiers from the Menashe Brigade found a few hundred thousand Shekels meant to fund terrorist activities.
“The IDF will continue to operate in order to thwart terror and to strengthen the security in the region,” the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said in a statement.
