Jerusalem, 23 October, 2018 (TPS-IL) -- IDF soldiers came under fire at around 9:30 pm, near Halhoul, some five kilometers north of Hebron, a military spokesman said Tuesday. No casualties were reported in the incident. Two Palestinian suspects have been arrested.

Security sources told TPS that two Palestinian cars coming from the direction of Halhoul had approached a check point and one drove through the checkpoint and opened fire on the soldiers. The force returned fire and arrested to suspects from the second car. A search is being conducted for the car from which shots were fired.
