Stabbing Attack Next to Supermarket North of Jerusalem; Two Wounded

Jerusalem, 18 February, 2016 (TPS) -- A stabbing attack was reported shortly before 5:00 PM in the Jewish community of Shaar Binyamin in the Binyamin region. The attack took place in the parking lot of a Rami Levy supermarket.

Two young Palestinians arrived in the area of the supermarket and stabbed two Israeli civilians, wounding them, before an armed civilian shot and neutralized the terrorists, a police spokesperson said.

According to Magen David Adom (MDA), one of the two wounded is unconscious and in serious condition after suffering stab wounds to his neck. The second man was stabbed in the back.

The two terrorists were wounded by the shooting, according to reports from the scene.
