Stabbing Attack Thwarted at a Checkpost South of Jerusalem, Terrorist Neutralized

Jerusalem, 14 February, 2016 (TPS) -- A Palestinian terrorist attempted to stab Israeli border policemen at a checkpost near the neighborhood of Har Homa in southern Jerusalem.

According to Police Spokesperson Asi Aharoni, during routine security checks a policeman spotted a suspect running towards the checkpost with a knife in his hand. One of the border policemen shot and neutralized him. The were no further casualties in the incident.
