Stabbing Attempt Against a Border Policeman Near Abu Dis

Jerusalem, 10 November, 2015 (TPS) -- A stabbing attempt took place at a checkpost near Abu Dis, a Palestinian town east of Jerusalem. A Palestinian assailant ran towards border policemen who were at the checkpost, brandishing a knife and shouting ‘allahu akbar’ (god is great).

The attacker was subsequently shot and neutralized by the border policemen. Despite receiving medical treatment at the scene, he died from his wounds.
