Suspect in Deadly Truck-Ramming Attack Arrested After 5 Months

Jerusalem, 9 March, 2016 (TPS) -- The Shin Bet and IDF special forces arrested a Palestinian resident of ad-Dhahiriya near Hebron, on suspicion of committing a deadly truck-ramming attack on October 20, 2015.

Avraham Asher Hasno, a 54-year-old father of seven from Kiryat Arba was killed in the attack that took place near Fawwar in the Mount Hebron region. Hasno had been driving his car when rocks were thrown at his vehicle. He got out of his car with a club in his hand, and was then deliberately hit by a truck.

The suspected terrorist was arrested shortly after the attack by Palestinian police in ad-Dhahiriya, and was released several days ago. He has now been arrested by Israeli security forces following strenuous intelligence efforts. He has been taken for an interrogation.
