Suspected Car Ramming Attack Prevented In A-Ram, One Palestinian Killed

Jerusalem, 13 July, 2016 (TPS) -- One Palestinian was killed early Wednesday morning, after it was suspected that he was attempting to run over IDF soldiers in A-Ram, near Ramallah.
IDF forces, in conjunction with the Israeli police, were in the midst of raiding a weapons manufacturing workshop, when they noticed a car accelerating towards them and opened fire. One passenger was killed and another was lightly wounded and evacuated to Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital in Jerusalem. A third man was taken in for questioning.
The raid netted machinery for manufacturing weapons.
