Suspected Shooting Attack at a Bus in Jerusalem

Jerusalem, 9 March, 2016 (TPS) -- Passengers on a bus reported hearing gunshots in their direction near Ramot Junction in northern Jerusalem.

While no one was hit by the gunfire, three were lightly wounded in the commotion that erupted, which also led to several shock victims. Both the wounded and the shock victims have been transferred to Shaare Zedek hospital.

Police forces are investigating the source of the gunfire and suspect that the incident was a drive-by shooting. Roadblocks have been placed to search for the perpetrator, with heavy traffic reported at all checkpoints and roads surrounding Jerusalem.
