Jerusalem, 10 May, 2016 (TPS-IL) -- A Gazan minor who has served in the Hamas Military Wing for two years, including in the tunnel project, has been arrested and indicted in an Israeli court. The Shin Bet cleared for publication that he was arrested on April 6 after illegally crossing into Israel.

His investigation revealed that he was recruited shortly before Operation Protective Edge in 2014 and underwent several military courses. He took part in various activities including ambushes against IDF forces and digging tunnels towards Israel. Most of his training was focused on offense, such as infiltration, entry to buildings, blowing up explosives and more. The Shin Bet said in a statement that this was “part of a perception that the next war would be held inside Israel.”
