Three Palestinians Indicted for Funding Anti-Jewish Temple Mount Groups

Jerusalem, 18 April, 2016 (TPS) -- A network of terror funding activists has been arrested and indicted, the police and the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) cleared for publication on Monday.

According to the indictment, filed at the Jerusalem District Court, the activists funded members of the outlawed Mourabitun and Murabitat organizations that act to exclude Jews from the Temple Mount.

The three defendants, Umm al-Fahm resident Muhammad Jabarin and residents of Silwan in Jerusalem Najib Kawasmeh Jada and Khalil Abasi, are still being interrogated. The Jerusalem Prosecutor requested that their remand be extended until the end of court proceedings against them.
