Jerusalem, 4 February, 2016 (TPS) -- A stabbing incident by two 13-year-old female Israeli-Arabs occurred shortly before 11:00 AM, in what the police say appears to have been a terrorist attack.

A 27-year-old Israeli security guard suffered light stab injuries in his arm and leg at the entrance to the central bus station in Ramla, a mixed Jewish-Arab city in central Israel.

According to a preliminary investigation, the two teenagers, one of whom was carrying a schoolbag, produced knives and attacked him during a routine check at the entrance to the station.

The suspected terrorists were neutralized, arrested and taken for questioning at the Ramla police station.
