Two Islamic Waqf Members Arrested After Attacking Jews on Temple Mount

Jerusalem, 27 July, 2016 (TPS-IL) -- The Jerusalem Police said that two Islamic Waqf members attacked Jews who were visiting the Temple Mount compound. Police forces rushed into the compound and arrested the two Waqf members and took them for questioning. The man who was attack did not require medical treatment.

The Waqf is an Islamic trust that manages the Temple Mount compound and oversees visits by Jews to the holy site, monitoring them so that they won’t pray, bow or violate the strict visitation rules imposed upon Jews.
