Jerusalem, 1 December, 2015 (TPS) -- Two separate stabbing attacks by Palestinians were thwarted shortly after 10 AM on Tuesday, December 1. One incident took place north of the town of Efrat in Gush Etzion, and the other occurred at a roadblock in northern Samaria, near Einav.

In a junction north of Efrat, a female Palestinian was walking between cars and raised suspicion. She was searched by IDF forces and a large knife was found in her belongings. She was subsequently arrested.

Almost at the same time, another attack was attempted at a roadblock near the community of Einav in northern Samaria. A female Palestinian wielding a pickaxe tried to hit a soldier, who managed to shoot her and prevent the attack. The attacker, identified as Maram Hasoon from Nablus, died of her wounds.
