Two Terror Suspects Arrested as IDF Secures Prayer Sites on the Eve of Tish’a Be’av

Jerusalem, 14 August, 2016 (TPS) -- IDF and Border Police forces arrested two Palestinian terror suspects during the night in Judea and Samaria. A Hamas member was arrested in Beit Ula, near Hebron, and another man was arrested in the Al-Arub refugee camp on suspicion of participating in violent riots directed at Israel civilians and security forces. They were taken for questioning.

IDF and police forces were also deployed around Rachel’s Tomb in Bethlehem and around the Sebastia antiquity site. They carried out open and covert activities in order to ensure that prayers held at those site on the eve of the Tish’a Be’av fast day are held without disturbances.
