Four Species of Sukkot
Israelis in Jerusalem inspect etrogim (citrons) for sale on Sept. 22, 2026, ahead of the upcoming Sukkot holiday. Citrons are one of the traditional "Four Species" of the week-long holiday along with a date palm frond and boughs of myrtle and willow. Sukkot begins on Friday at sundown.
