Desert energy
The Ashalim solar power station in the Negev desert, Friday August 10. The plant, which is expected to commence electricity production in 2019, will have a capacity of 121 Megawatt, making it the largest in Israel, producing 2% of the country's consumption, and the 5th largest in the world.
